A short comic about one of my earliest movie-going experiences. My pops decided it would be a good idea to go to take four year old me to the sooper-late showing of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom"....Kalllliiimaaa scarred me for life. In a good way.

Being a lover of all things Hipp I was stoked to see that “Gyakushu! vol. 3” is finally available in english on Comixology. Great little fantasy epic that mixes elements of Lord of the Rings, Spaghetti Westerns, John Carpenter, Kill Bill, and a ton of other cool jazz into a really fun (and bllooooddddyyy) unique tale.

Been reading through the awesome Brandon Graham catalog of late and couldn’t decide who to draw so just did a bit of a King City/Prophet mashup. In my head both those books are part of a shared universe and this can and did happen at one point…or sumthin..
